Wissam al-Qahwaji
Wissam, her husband Muhammad, and their three children— Ahmed (12), Kenan (6), and Yen (9)—have lost everything over the past few months. They have been displaced numerous times, and are currently sheltered in a tent on the beach in Khan Yunis after Israeli bombardments on October 7, 2024.
Gevar Abodakka
Gevar was in his first-year of university in Gaza studying cyber-security when Israel’s assault on Gaza turned his life turned upside down. Displaced numerous times with his family of 15, they are now living in Khan Yunis. At Suds4Palestine, Gevar facilitates our connections to on-the-ground soup kitchens and supervises meal distributions to local communities.
Abood al-Qahwaji
Abdul Rahman and his family of eight in Gaza have been displaced four times in the latest Israeli assault on Gaza. Currently residing in his cousin's damaged home in Deir al-Balah, they live in constant fear of the next attack. Abdul's father is unable to walk due to a heart condition, and his 13-year-old sister Layan is healing from a broken leg. As the eldest son at 19, Abdul has taken on the responsibility of caring for his family.
